We consider 3 degrees :
1st DEGREE BURNS
Only the skin is affected. The skin is red, dry, sometimes slightly swollen and painful because of irritation of nerves’ endings. It is sunburn. ...
The wound will heal spontaneously within a few days without leaving a scar. The risk of infection is minimal.
