The treatment and rehabilitation of burned people incur huge expenses (transport of the patient, surgical operations, physiotherapy, compressive clothes, care products ...).

All of this is only partially taken in charge by mutual insurance companies.

This is why the Asbl Pinocchio association provides financial support when parents have difficulties to cope with all these expenses.

The Pinocchio association tries to be of help in many fields :

the distribution of clothes and shoes to children from poor families
a financial contribution for the purchase of compressive clothes, treatment fees and meals
the purchase of picture and reading books for children

Here are a few examples of prices for masks and compressive clothes :
