Alas, all children victim of burns cannot attend these camps, just for the sake of preserving the family aspect on one hand and to provide personal support for individual to the child on the other hand.

The selection is made on the basis of various parameters:

* age

* the level of seriousness of burns

* the degree of the burns

* the recovery phase (the crenotherapy is most efficient when cicatrisation is still in its active phase)

* the socio-economic situation

* the need to provide care

* both for French and Dutch speaking children

The head physician of the Centre for burned children determines whether the child needs crenotherapy.
