For it to be efficient, a crenotherapy must be followed on a daily basis for a minimum period of 2 consecutive weeks. The crenotherapy involves 4 phases made of 3 hours of treatment (the rest of the day will be devoted to the games, sports and development).

1. WATER CONSUMPTION

According to medical advice, the "patient under crenotherapy" consumes between 100 and 500 ml of mineralized water which provides an important quantity of minerals including favouring diuresis.

2. THE BATH

The bath lasts about 15 minutes and produces a relaxing effect. It helps the concerned areas to have a long lasting contact with the crenotherapy water which particularly favours the healing process. Moreover, this facilitates the mobilization. The bath may be eventually completed by hydro-massage in order to accelerate the regeneration of the skin.

3. VAPORIZATION

The thermal water is sprayed at high pressure for 10 minutes all over the body.

This smooth massage activates the circulation of capillary vessels, and removes the dandruffs or skin waste.

4. WATER JETS

In France, this process consists in projecting thermal water jets (foliform jets) under very high pressure (obtained with a small diameter and very precise and parallel projections).

At Spa, this phase is limited to a jet shower. The shower creates a micro-massage of both the skin and areolar tissues.

This phase is sometimes painful, but the success of the cure depends on it.
